Jalen Brunson has signed a four-year, $104 million contract with the New York Knicks, making him the fourth player in Knicks history to sign a contract worth $100 million.
Brunson will receive $104 million guaranteed, with an average annual salary of $26 million. He joins Carmelo Anthony, Julius Randle, and Allan Houston as the only Knicks players to sign $100 million contracts with the team.
Brunson's signing is a significant move for the Knicks, who have been looking to add a starting-caliber point guard for several seasons. Brunson is a young and talented player who averaged 16.3 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game with the Dallas Mavericks last season.
With Brunson in tow, the Knicks hope to build on their success from last season, when they finished with a 37-45 record and made the playoffs for the first time since 2013.
