62 Cars Set to Do Battle at Circuit de la Sarthe
The highly anticipated 92nd edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours will take place on June 15-16, 2024. The full starting grid has been revealed, featuring a total of 62 cars representing a diverse mix of manufacturers and teams. With a wide range of prototypes and GT classes, the competition promises to be fierce and thrilling.
Among the highlights of the entry list are the defending champions, Toyota Gazoo Racing, who will field a pair of their GR010 Hybrid prototypes. Porsche Penske will also be challenging for victory with a trio of 963 entries, while Ferrari, Peugeot, and Glickenhaus are among the other major manufacturers represented in the Hypercar class.
In the LMP2 class, a large field of 29 cars will compete for honours, including entries from Prema Orlen Team, JOTA, and United Autosports. The GTE Pro class will feature a smaller but equally competitive field of 7 cars, with Porsche, Ferrari, and Chevrolet represented.
